While the town of Amherst, Massachusetts has a thriving little downtown area surrounded by Amherst College, Hampshire College and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, the area beyond is a lovely rural setting populated with all sorts of small family farms. We choose one of those small farms as the setting for our latest photo shoot for the new Fall lines we’ve been telling you so much about!
We loved the old red barns on the property…

and the horses in the fields beyond.

I think the colors provided a great back drop for the Fall flags and mailbox covers we where shooting that day. And hopefully, when you see them, they’ll provide you with new ideas and inspiration for your own designs this Fall!

And, despite the usual on-the-job-challenges posed by mosquitoes, bees, 85 degree temperatures and mud…

….I was really happy with the outcome – and I think you will be, too! So, when we announce our next design contest, know that we really do understand how challenging it can be to get just the right light, and just the right angle, and just the right background to make a great shot!
Happy (Almost) Fall!

P.S. And, of course, from now on whenever you see one of our product “scene” shots you’ll be wondering who’s standing just out of range holding that flag in place!
